I did try a DUCKhams once, but it wan't as good.

I got a brace of woodcock this afternoon, they are no good for keeping your bike dry/protected, but they do taste good.

Of course(!), if you do shove a rag up its nostril to stop "mice nesting in your air box", do remember to remove again before going for a run round the block.

You'd never catch me, up the road, seat off (etc), fishing said rag out of my
(mouse-free) air box. Oh no.

Whether you ride it through the year or store it for months "even" BM's need protecting. Grease, sprays etc are a must to stop the paint getting corroded and blistery. When I worked for a dealership one of the most annoying people i have ever met was a bloke with an 11S who had various minor flakies around the usual fork bottoms and similar and was bitching on like an old woman about it and wanting wholesale warranty claims. "I have a dry warm garage you know!" Yeah but not sprays and no f'ing sense.

A previous GS once aged dramatically through not getting used for about 3 months due to company bike. Didn't get hot every day and didn't get liberally sprayed with something protective. Obviously batteries will go AWOL if left to discharge also.
