ye canny whack itWhy not try Comrie Croft near Crieff? You can camp in the woods there and have open fires - best of both worlds![]()

Would have loved to come along but was a bit late myself in replying and understand wild camping wouldn't be much fun with dozens of bikes and tents, as it would defeat the purpose![]()
Maybe there could be a winter camping night next time at a campsite? There is one in the Borders near Ettrick by a river which is open all year....

"However no noise will be tolerated after 11pm"

Comrie is good, I forgot about that 11pm rule though.
If you want to be a bit more hardcore, camp on the Applecross peninsula at this time of year before the road gets snowed in!

What's their position on fire extinguishers? Can you discharge them, either before or after 11pm?
(You'd think they'd mention that)
