Barstewards:blast - noo aey'll hae to go xmas shopping with the 'long Haired Colonel':mad:. However, the 12th could be good:thumb. Have noted the Clachaig, had some great nichts in there, can't believe I've never thought of a night camping under the Aonach Eagach ridge- next to a pub!!:jeiger
 
looks like you guys missed a cracking weekend for the camping, was oot on saturday for a scoot through glen coe then home via Inveraray, views where awesome as they always are at this time of year

Well, call me a fanny if yiz like but if the weather continues to be a cauld as it was when I took my dug oot at 06.30 this mornin', then I'll be nae whaur near a tent and sleepin' bag...:augie
 
To be honest I couldn't imagine being in a tent without an open fire or stove at this time of year, no matter how much alcohol is consumed!

Was in Applecross in peeing rain and high winds, my Tresspas tent was flooded so had to share my mates Varrie 5 canvas tipi. Put the Tresspass in the bin and got one of these from Nordic Outdoors. Great bit of quality kit and makes winter camping much more bearable! Fits on the back of the bike fine too!
 
Those of you on the list from the last attempt- ye up for it again on the 12th?

Confirmation would be nice so I can start getting organised

Again- it'll be weather dependant and I'll go and check out the swamp on Thursday and we'll take it from there.

I'm going to bow out of this Wully. It's one of my last free wekends before I head of on the Calum's Road trip. I'm starting to realise I need to get my backside in gear and get organised :blast
