30-50 knots easterly. Wind howling round the house, snow going past sideways all day.

Fucking freezing.

Car has had a small bit of the plastic grill smashed off after a Volvo/deer interface on the way home last night and I discovered when slamming on the brakes and swerving to avoid a tree branch in the middle of the road that a Volvo automatically switches on the hazard lights for you when stamping on the stop peddle.
(The rest of the tree has since fallen down blocking the Oban road. )

Me and my lad braved the weather today and went over to Kintore to get the Van-vans mot's. it was Baltic. The roads weren't to bad unless there was a gap in the wall/fence and the snow was drifting across the road which is very unnerving on a Van-Van. The worst bit was the wind. I had to drop into 4th on some bits as was just getting blown back

Just in from taking the dog for a walk and its still blowing.

I plan to head north tomorrow to see some ice sculptures. I think they'll still be standing.
