I am having an Autocom Super Pro fitted to my F800GS for Bike to Bike Comm, Music, GPS etc. The control unit, radio and other bits will have to reside in a tank bag. Anyone out there with a suggestion for a suitable Tank Bag, please let me know.

Any tank bag will do, providing you can get leads in and out.

How difficult can it be? You can use a shoe box, an envelope or a plastic bag instead if you can find some method of holding them onto the the tank.

If you want instant external power there are tank bags that work of some sort of powered horseshoe affair, bolted to the filler cap. Or you can Google Powerlet and get busy.

agreed. :rolleyes:
but sooner or later whatever you use, you'll walk away from the Bike with the lead still attached to yer lid and pull the bag off the tank. :blast

much prefer the self contained (battery only and 'holster style' belt bag) kit.

this is what came 'standard' with my old instructor kit - fine if you've a steel tank. :nenau and it is small tidy and waterproof.
givi mini tank bag;

Chad's got one that fits just to the filler cap and it looks great. I'm sure when he gets home he'll post about it.
