I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium that came installed on my HP dv9600 laptop.
To access tinternet via USB wireless modem, my tinternet provider told me that Windows Vista disagrees with his wireless modem.
It's a feature!!
I have to do the following PITA workaround routine to get the modem to wake up properly:
1. right click on My Computer and go to Properties
2. find my iBurst terminal on list of Network Adaptors
3. right click on adaptor to disable device, click confirm, etc.
4. then right click on adaptor again to enable device again
Only then will my log on connection succeed.
BTW this is a non-UK provider, I'm currently Far Away.
Any suggestions for curing this?
