Hi All,

I've just bought both of the above, and was wondering if anyone could give me instructions on hard wiring them to the battery.

I've bought the power lead fro the pro 7 autocom and the qpac2 and extension lead for my quest.

Any instructions and pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Andy

Andy, Autocom themselves suggest wiring their equipment into the fused power lead to the brake light (connector mounted on R/H/S of bike near the frame above the rear brake IIRC), and the earth to a suitable position on the frame.
I have spliced my QPAC power into the cables leading to the back of the auxiliary socket, and it seems to all be working fine at present. My bike is a 1150GS by the way, cannot comment on suitability of the above on another bike, sorry. Good luck.

I fitted Autocomm to the accessory socket under the seat of my 12gs. This morning the battery was not powerful enough to turn the engine. I can't figure how it could have drained the power. Any suggestions for better wiring that won't affect ABS?

MMMmmmm...may I suggest that you e-mail Autocom's help desk?. These guys are really helpful, and will advise as to the best solution they are aware of at present for your machine. If you click on Autocom's link at the top of this page....... :thumb
