This isnt on a GS but i want to wire my autocom to the bike as a battery is just hopeless.

There is nowhere to attach the autocom to the bike permanantly without it being affected by heat and water so i was planning in fitting a connector block near the handle bars and just have the autocom in my tank bag.

I was planning on wiring it directly to the battery via a fuse. Will this be ok?

What amp fuse should i use? I noticed my mate has an Easi autocom with a 6amp fuse plus some weird box in the wiring system.

Cheers for your help folks

Yes it will work in a tank bag.

Yes you can power it that way.

Bit of a fiddle using a connector block each time you take the tankbag off. Use a basic plug.

Autocom draws zip. 3 amp in-line fuse will do.
