Can anybody tell me the colour of the wires that supply the rear lights please.

I want the stop light, side light and earth please as I have bought a WEC rear end for my 450x and it doesnt come supplied with a plug.

It saves me messing about looking for them.

If you have a look on the CD, it will save me messing about looking for them to tell you......
Failing that, use a meter on the loom plug that you disconnect when removing your old rear-end.
Easier again for me.....

I have looked on my CD, but I didnt get the 1st CD with the bike and that must contain the wiring diagram and colour ledger.

I couldn't see a wiring diagram on my G450X RepROM either. Mine is the 2nd Edition, Dated 09/2008.

What .. the WEC rear end ?? or the wiring diagram ??

I used the tester in the end for the correct wires, easy job.

I use the KTM forum alot and the guys on there are really clued up on the bikes and I thought some of you guys would know the colours off by heart.

I will post some pictures up when I fit my speedbrain sticker kit and my blue talon wheels.... just before I flog it

No seriously I might just keep it, the decision will be made after saturdays ride out on 14:50 gearing.

Do you need to leave those two white lugs on the rear fender just infront of the rear stop light? Looks neat apart from them, maybe look even better with a "slightly" smaller number plate on.

I left the 2 lugs on while I made my mind up whether to chop them off or not... I have now removed them.

I've just bought one of those tidy back ends, did you make a note of the wire connections? colour to colour, not much of an electrician myself

Choice of 3 wires... hang on I will have a look in the garage for the wire colours

WEC LAMP BIKE

BLACK = E BROWN

YELLOW = SIDE GREY/RED

RED = STOP GREY/BLACK
