So you should be, a 660 works fine but now is not the time to be spending money on such an old unit. Unless you think you need all the fripperies that the Nav V offers the 390 will do all you need

I agree but he OP already has a 390 so why should he buy a 660 now? Makes no sense.

I tried to fit my 390 zumo to the power lead that powers the bmw sat nav, It would turn it on with the key but would not charge, the canbus system only see,s the transformer in the zumo,s power lead....
I wired mine in to the lead that supplies the din power socket, it works on the key but stays on about 30 seconds until the canbus shuts down..
