Wiring these 18w LEDs

I think that is a similar price to a PDM60. Question is which is easiest to wire in?

I have had two sets of those lights, no problems with them on full brightness during the day. Eventually they let in water and fail. Upgraded to BMW looky likeys from Aliexpress. No problems since

The PDM60 is only a fuse unit the Hex EZ Can is a controller unit that integrates with the BMW canbus controls

There is an alternate unit to the Hex ezcan with more outputs Im sure its mentioned in one of the threads.

That would be the CAN Switch. http://www.canswitch.co.za/index.html

The price is similar to the HEX EZcan.

The box is a bit larger compared to the EZcan, about same size as the PDM60. It has 8 outputs (EZcan has 4).

I belive the EZcan is easier to set up since it has fewer options, so if controlling lights is the only thing wanted I would go for the EZcan.

If more stuff is desired, the CANswitch is the way to go. You may program it to use pretty much any switch combination you want.

Have a look on the official site just in case they have a sale in the new year, I purchased mine in Black Friday and payed only £124 including vat and delivery.

They are £140.00 plus vat at the moment.

I bought those lights and wired them up with a Hex EZ-Can in November, first time doing any sort of electrical work.

EZ-Can is a great piece of kit and YouTube taught me how to solder wires together, looking forward to adding another accessory or two to my EZ-Can network.

Considering using the other Aux Light channel for heated gear, don't have any yet though.

By the way the EZ-Can can be bought from a couple of websites in Europe so you don't have to buy from the yanks and get screwed on customs...

Here's where I got mine: https://www.gs-911.be/ :thumby:

Denali Kit Fitted

Just fitted Denali kit with the two smallest lamps but brightness still very bright and Denali horn , total cost £465 including extras but went down this road with the Idea of using the brake light circuit for the 12volt feed to power the top box . The main reason for power on the top box is that with my phone paired to the TFT screen and to my smart watch , the phone battery only last about 6 hours so on long trips this let me down on more than one occation on could not find suitable other place to keep and charge phone. Also this set up still gives me an extra socket if needed.
