Wow.................lucky to escape with just a busted collarbone. :(

Get well soon mate. :thumb2

PS Your front wheel looks like it might need re-balancing.;)

PPS Lookin at those shots and a few others in the past its somehow kind of comforting to know that if the worst does happen a GS can do a fair amount of damage to a persons car :)

Check PJ's post count today and then check it in a few weeks.........that left hand of his will be working over time........a new experience for him....it'll be like someone else doing it..........:augie

Bad luck

bad luck mate

if it is only your collar bone PJ you should not be out of action for 6 weeks - after my recent off I was back at work after 2 weeks and driving the car (1 handed mind !!)

If you need to be up and running sooner you might consider Brian Simpson http://www.physioclinic.net/. My sons boss recommended him - he is a builder and was back working after 2 weeks following a motocross crash and badly fractured collar bone.
He had 4 sessions at the magnetic /laser thingy (£300 ish)
This was also recommended to me by a top downhill mountainbike racer - he is well known amongst professional sportsmen

wishing you a speedy recovery

Cheers
Mike

Hi Mike, thanks for the info. May have to try him out :thumb2.
I broke the same collar bone 5 years ago so i knew what i'd be going through. I ended up being signed off for 7 weeks last time due to the nature off my job and have to do a lot of lifting. Don't think it healed to well last time from going back to early last time :blast.

Thanks to everyone who's posted. Its well apprieciated and truely helpful :clap.
Spoke to Vines today and they reckon, at first glance that the bike looks repairable. So here's hoping :bounce1.

Hope both you and the bike are OK for another Sunday ride out sometime in September then,

Take it easy,

Best wishes Dave
