Interesting you mention corroded fittings. I've noticed the alloy bolts on the rear of the drive shaft and around calliper have gone dull and speckled, the bike is garaged and has not been out in the wet or damp, picked up end of December.I was 980 miles at my first service and was asked not to do more as it "might" cause issues if there was an engine warranty claim later on. I am led to believe that they use "running in oil" hence the not over revving, rev limit, keeping loading varied, revs up and down etc but this might be complete bollocks but I recall my dads car competition engines used to run in on different oils to the actual race oils. Any way mines done now so "I'm alright Jack." Lol. Just the corroded fittings and seized rear brake pads pin etc to deal with..
It seems it's only these bolts at the moment. I'll mention when it goes in for service.
