Anyone got one of these. Looks similiar to the Lone Rider tent but at under half the price. I know you get what you pay for, but I will only use it once or twice a year? I just fancy something I can stand up in:

Amazon - Wolf Walker Biker Tent

Not sure I’d like the smell , sleeping with my bike in a tent , surrounded by lovely green fresh air.

It looks like it's on it's centre stand. If it was me I'd have it on the side stand leaning away from the
sleeping area. In any case I'd leave the bike outside and use the garage area to sit, eat, drink and
cook etc. But that's just me. I hope the tent works well for you.

Squeezing past a bike that's on its centre stand on the grass every time you want in or out, including after a few? Why would you, is it going to melt in the rain?

Yeah, don't really get why you would put a bike in your tent, but I guess it might be handy at some point :nenau

Just ordered it, got some vouchers so only costing me £100. Plenty of space, almost 6ft tall in places so I can stand up and put my trousers back on in the morning. Will use it at the ABR next month.

You will still spend most your time in the tent on your hands and knees or bent double as everything lives on the floor (unless you are taking your chest of drawers and bed with you ☺️). Big roomy tents are also cold, airy, and can be flappy/noisy in a wind. I’ve a Redverz Atacama version of this tent and it’s all the above. But the space is nice and you can cook and live in the ”garage”. I’ve never put my bike in there.

If you are staying for a few days/week in a place these bigger tents are awesome. Easy to sit inside/outside, keep gear hidden etc. As a day to day its a faff taking it down and up each time. I used the equivalent of the lone rider at Le Mans for a week. Brilliant. Would I take it for a quick night/weekend trip...no. So I have 2 tents now. No bike inside but great to be able to stand up in the porch and get dressed easier/shelter from rain etc

A smaller, better tent with a tarp over the door is the way forward! :thumb2 A lot less noise, smaller pack size and still have somewhere to sit / stand in the dry outside. A LOT more stable in the wind too. Drop the tarp down, job done. :thumb2

You're just bragging because you can put a tarp up. Remember, no-one likes a show off. :D

Less is more when it comes to tents……….except with price!! lol
I swear by the MSR Elixir. Even a moron (like me) can erect in minutes. Add 1 to what you need and you’re good to go (I.e if solo get 2 man etc) I’ve actually got the 3 man - incase I get lucky or mrs comes. Neither has happened to date 🤔
The fuck would you want to put your scooter in the tent with you??!! 🤣🤣

……….tarp is a great idea too, but I’ve not got one yet. Usually pitch up with a pub within walking distance, but that’s just me 🤔

I do not own one but have looked at them periodically, I think a tent like the one above or Lonerider allows you to pack the bike up in the dry (If it is raining outside) and allow you to get ready inside before packing the tent itself away in the wet. (Too big for panniers etc.)

My Lone Rider tent in a Lomo Dry Bag sits nicely in my Givi top box

Amazon - Wolf Walker Biker Tent

I did buy one of these back in November when there was an Amazon offer, think it was £160 or so. I put it up once indoors and noticed the huge air gap under the outer to ground, and also the zips did not fill me with confidence. One of them was sticking halfway down and obviously kinked/damaged. I ended up sending it back and went for the LR Moto Tent (again on offer at the time so £350ish) which I would say is built far better.

The standup space in either is great, the pack size/weight is the same as me taking my Quechua 2-man and a tarp, or my Avon 3 DLX, and no-one is forcing you to put your bike in it :D

Well it survived 4 days at the ABR Festival. I just strapped it on the the bike, it is quite large but happily sits on the pillion seat, and then stuck it up for the first time when I got there. I read about putting the three poles in and then pegging it down from one end to the other, which took about 15 minutes, then the inner tent just clips in. A few windy nights and some light rain with no problems, and loads of space to stand up and get dressed in the morning :).

I did wheel the bike in to the porch area to get the obligatory "Adventure Rider" photo :sneaky:
