Won this Remus, what to do about fuelling?

fj was a four cyl, no matter what u do, a twin wont out grunt a four

No, I know. And the Fudge was 126 bhp against about 72. But I'd like mine to be able to accelerate up that hill in fifth; it's not that step. I'll see what happens when I put it back together. At least this original looks better than the Remus...:D (Not necessarily in style, but definitely for cleanliness).

From Sqid:
Did you hear anymore about saved programs on the 1100 ?
Nop, the plug for mine hadn't arived from Germany yet, and I'm afraid I got distracted by a very nice Kwak KH250...rose tinted specs and all that... But as yours didn't have a cat, and therefore no lambda, I think the general consensus indicates a straight swap for you. Others might come along with tips on what they've done.

Did a quick 25 miles and all seems good so far, appears to rev faster without any loss of grunt. In fact I'd say it almost feels like it wants to wheelie off the throttle in 2nd.

Had cleaned/oiled the K&N filter which was due and done the valve clearances (inlet a bit slack) so not an exact back to back. Might be in the mind but don't think so due to 5th feeling like 4th.

Just hope the MPG hasn't suffered.

Don't know what you got before, but I reckon on 55 mpg on a 'mixed' run, and I can do Kendal to Green Wellie Stop (indicated 228 miles) on a standard tank. Going to take a gallon spare this year and see if I can make Glen Coe non-stop...:D

Probably not putting the 'standard' on until the winter lay-up.
