Pulled into the Tan Hill Inn on Friday afternoon to get out of the rain. One pint of stout later and a little warmer and drier I returned to the bike (R1100GS) but she wouldn't start. Turning over OK but wouldn't fire. WD40 didn't help.
Several hours wait for recovery service and trailered home.
Could have been worse. At least I was stuck at a pub!
This has happened once before, after washing the bike and being a bit overenthusiastic with the hosepipe.
I'm a complete mechanical numpty. What should I check / replace to make sure this doesn't happen again?
