wont start

Hi all
went to start my bike today after a week off, had to charge the battery the first time. Rode the bike aweek ago for a good 3 hours.
Put the key in the ingnition, turned it and the dash was very slow in coming on, the main headlights were very very dim, pressed the start button and a single click, then nothing, all the dash went off and the whole bike appeared to be dead. then the dash came back on, but no noise from the fuel pump and no headlights. Is this the battery????

Its a R1200GSA non ABS on a 07 plate.
