Yep, mine's failed. Riding along and thought, "Hmm, the M1's bumpier than usual this evening" and then realised it probably wasn't the motorway surface 
Pulled onto the hard shoulder and sure enough there was blobs of grease on the brake disc and the rim. Thought I could either wait for my mate/the RAC to recover me or just limp it off at the next junction and over to my mate's workshop. Opted for the limp it option - rather peculiar riding along with a wobbly rear wheel!
Waiting on a bearing from James Sherlock now.
So, 31,500 miles - is that good or bad going for a 1200 final drive failure?
