In answer to a question:

Hi XXX, because of the volume of stuff I put on the CD most of it had to be compressed in zip files.
Open Windows Explorer or My Computer and browse to the CD, you are looking for database.zip - extracting the actual DB files will depend on how you PC is set up but normally there should be an 'Extract...' option when you RIGHT click the file. There's two versions of the DB to cater for people with older versions of MS Office on their PC's - try the 2002 version first and if that's not succesful for you go for the 97 version.

Hope this helps, feel free to get back to me if you have problems.

Cheers
Andy

I've just received one of Andy's CDs and got it working - so much information on one disk, it's got to be the best 5 quid I've spent in a long time.

Excellent bit of kit - highly recommended.

Jack

Thanks Jack :)

I have to go in to hospital again tomorrow for another op on my leg on Monday - any requests over the next 24hrs I'll sort straight away and swmbo will post CDs Monday.

Otherwise I'll hopefully be home Tuesday/Wesdnesday to respond to any messages/requests for the CD

Cheers
Andy

Got the CD as well, can recommend it. :thumb

Although when you tally up everything you have spent (in the database) on extras; I could probably have bought another bike.

Worth the £5.

I've looked through some of my CD - it really is full of useful stuff. Absolute bargain at a fiver a throw. Thanks, Andy.

Robin.

Hi Andy, I'm currently starting a stripdown on a BMW 12GSA short block, does you manual cover any of the internal of the short block, or the 12GSA at all?

It doesnt look too complecated so far, but it would be good to find out about any pitfalls if there are some to come.

I've just PM'd you - let me have your email address and I'll send you more info.

Hi Andy, Looking at your avatar I don't think I will be queueing up for an Xray like that. Hope the healing process is going according to plan. Get well soon.

I would like to order one of your GS maintenance CDs please. If you like I can pay by PayPal. Delivery is to Southern Ireland. Thanks.
