Hi Andy, I'm currently starting a stripdown on a BMW 12GSA short block, does you manual cover any of the internal of the short block, or the 12GSA at all?

It doesnt look too complecated so far, but it would be good to find out about any pitfalls if there are some to come.

Cheers Andy,
CD arrived today! Nothing specific about the 12GSA in there at the moment, but there looks to be more than enough about the common parts to do the job I need to do.

Many thanks
John

Got one of Andy's CD's the other day.
There is a lot of useful stuff on there. Well worth a fiver. Every GS owner should have one!

Thanks Andy.

You're welcome - and thanks for the PM, glad the Cd came in so useful already :)

One last push! :-)

It's nine months since my accident, I'm still trying to get by on just £120+/month from Incapacity Benefit and Disability Living Allowance and by the looks of things a few more months like this still to go! :(
So, there's a reminder of why I have put my Info CD together for sale, something to do and for a little pocket money (I promise not to spend too much of the proceeds on  )

And heres some details of the Cd content:
http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showpost.php?p=820527&postcount=2

CDs regularly appear on eGay for £6 and £7..........and they don't have the Database and bonus material!! My Cd at £5 inc P&P is good value........and you get the feelgood factor helping me out :)

PayPal £5 (or PM me for address for posting chqs)
PayPal email address:

AT=@ and DOT=.

I ordered one from Andy - 1st class bloke and, as most of you know, is having a rough time of it!
It's only the price of a pint or two , and you'd be doing a fellow GS'er a big favour.

i've got one of andy's cds and am pretty impressed with it.
andy has chucked in some useful extras too

Andy
Have now had a chance to look at all the bits on the CD and it is very useful.
The database for keeping info on the bike will be very useful if only to remind me of just how much I have spent on it
Many Thanks

I've just received one of Andy's CDs and got it working - so much information on one disk, it's got to be the best 5 quid I've spent in a long time.
Excellent bit of kit - highly recommended.
Jack

Got the CD as well, can recommend it.
Although when you tally up everything you have spent (in the database) on extras; I could probably have bought another bike.
Worth the £5.

I've looked through some of my CD - it really is full of useful stuff. Absolute bargain at a fiver a throw. Thanks, Andy.
Robin.

Hi Andy

Hi Andy

1200 cd

This looks like a very useful source of info have sent payment via paypal all the best Malcolm:thumb2

NB! Using the database on the CD

After feedback from someone who had a little problem using the database........

I'm not sure if I've said this before but in any case please note that to use the database on the CD the database file must be extracted (unzipped) to your PC (that's either BikeMaint Log_2002.mdb or BikeMaint Log_97.mdb)

Cheers
Andy

Cheers Andy

Mine landed yesterday.

Steve
