So, I've a 2007 version of europe navigator on my zumo 550 and i'm thinking of a big trip but wondering about updating my maps. if i wanted to cover ground beyond europe i would be better with world map right? does this overwrite the software already on my zumo and do i then lose the european navigator? or, should i get world map and go for the map updates on navigator europe? assistance on this will be appreciated.
You would need to load additional maps as supplementaries which would then not overwrite the preloaded maps. With the space requirements this would mean one or maybe more sd cards.
Not sure what you mean by 'worldmap'. If this is only a basemap you would need detailed maps for different areas to load as well.
