any one play WOW, I have agreed to rebuild a pc on a limited budget for my nephew and one of the games he wants to play on it is world of warcraft. so my question is what is a reasonable spec machine for playing this game. never played it myself so thought i would see what recomendations i would get here. i was thinking along the lines of 2gig dual core processor 1gig of ram and 256mb graphics card or will that be woefully inadiquate? it started out that i was just going to put XP on his curant machine, ME
with 256mb ram and 128mb graphics card
untill i suggested it probably wont run WOW and it would need a bit more ram to run XP
I probably wont be using new stuff so if anyone has a used mobo and prossesor up for reasonable ££ it may mean he can get a flat panel as well

he is very lucky to still be with us! he loves to be out side but has serious problems with his energy levels and needs something to take up the hours he sits at home with barely enough energy to get up and go to the toilet. so its not the usual situation of lazy little git who wont go out. so i think he will probably still get WOW
