On the verge of buying a 2010 GSA but I have a few of questions first.
1. What is the width of the GSA with panniers fitted? Do they stick out further than the mirrors? My GTR is 930mm and can be a tight squeeze getting past our car in the driveway. (if it's too wide I can always sell the car
)
2. I'm a bike instructor and will be using this for work and play, I know it's good out on the open road and single tracks but what is it like around town? I'm not too worried about the weight (anyone thats ridden a GTR will know if you can flick one of them around in traffic you can handle a heavy bike) or getting my feet down.
I'm more thinking about slow riding (I didn't really do slow on my test ride
) is it easy enough to handle at low speeds like following mopeds up hill at 20mph and filtering through traffic?
3. The model I'm looking at has the Premium Package (reckon I've managed 20 odd years being able to stop safely without ABS so I'll manage without the Dynamics, plus thats the one the dealer has available)
I'm not one for changing bikes every couple of years and wanted to ask opinions on how reliable all the electrickery (ESA, etc) on these bikes are as it's gonna be a year round bike and though I ain't traveling round the world on it I will rattle up the mileage and I need something thats reliable.
Cheers in advance.
Alan
