OK so am picking up my new WC on Friday morning and will be using it to get to a pre arranged lunch appointment around mid day. Am getting concerned that the bike will grenade its self on the way - taking me with it. :nenau

I really want to get to this lunch appointment. :rob

It's been nice not knowing you....At least you'll go out with a bang

have some champagne on ice waiting just in case you make it ;)

BMW Assist are really good so you have no worries :thumby:

Buy a train ticket just in case – for the next couple of years journeys at least.

Look on the bright side - at least you won't get into a nasty tank slapper since those new ones have a lovely steering damper fitted ;) :D

Hi

In my latest attempt to make the missus a rich bitch I drove to France, Germany, Austria, Slovenia and Italy and back.

Over 2K miles and the bike didn't even use any oil.

The suicide bridge at Archway is far more efficient and doesn't cost £17K:rob

Not sure that's true... Nowadays it's highly likely your fall from the bridge would be broken by landing on a broken down GS or even one that's having trouble doing a hill start

Grease the rear tyre before you ride it then if the gearbox locks up you can slide to a safe stop dont forget to post up the pictures

Update...

Enjoyed riding the bike so much forget all about my lunch appointment. :blast

Not sure if the Anakee 3s fitted would be up to much off roading but may give them a try. :thumb2

And before the naysayers arrive yes I did use my old 1200 off road. :thumb

:D
