Sadly I don't got the extra £1,500 to get a 2010. Why tho, is that year significantly better??

The fact that it only has 12k on it, Garmin Zumo 550 sat nav [any good?] so I stand a chance of getting where I wanna go, and Fog lights so I stand a chance of seeing where I wanna go are a big plus for me,
as I think the sat nav and lights would cost best part of a grand, yes??

Yes, I've been lost in France , and yes I've ended up in the New Forest Hampshire and not Swindon at 2am cos of the former tings!

2010 onwards will get you a twin cam bike, which has more power, is the best of the previous 12's and will hold its value better than a non TC. Haggle hard, and they'll drop their price probably somewhere halfway, but even if you go with the cheaper bike, you'll still have a great bike.
