A previous owner of my 1150 GS sent me a box of bits found in his garage.
There are a few I can't identify so I thought the collective might know....
All are for an R1150GS 2002 single spark.
One is obviously a rear rack but seems a bit small. Not sure a bout the brackety bits-- initially thought they were some sort of bar risers/ bar back but inclined to think they are maybe spotlight brackets or similar. Anyway, over to you chaps..:thumb2 any ideas appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

the silver bit is the upright bit off the rack, grab handle basically. the tube looks to be some kind of exhaust extension, possibly to take it past a pannier? the clips look like aux light brackets for crash bars.

That d shaped item is a grab handle that fits behind pillion seat a lot of people remove them as if bike is fitted with touring panniers you have grab handles either side to assist getting bike on to centre stand, haven't got clue what that short bit of pipe is for though

The pipe looks like a removable baffle from possibly a Remus can.
Long bolts could be fixtures for the OEM handguards.
Grab handle is as the others have said and removed to allow the OEM topbox and adaptor plate to be fitted.
Big rust bolt - don't know but would bin it
Two black Allen's - don't know.

Thanks chaps: it had a remus can fitted so the pipe could be for that.

Only one rusty bolt, not countersunk like the end bolts. There was a pair of bar end weights and countersunk bolts in the box of bits - the rusty one has a collar on it , brake lever or gear lever pivot bolt maybe?

It makes sense now, thanks guys, the bike had loads of bling and non-standard stuff with all the bits bagged (but not tagged:blast) the handguards were one of many touratech bits added.

The two black allens were in the bag with the brackets- I guess they go at one side of the bars and the longer ones at the other.

The handrail doesn`t seem to have enough mounting points to be strong enough.. unless it mounts vertically?
Cheers.

Yes it mounts almost vertically into the rear Ali rack assuming it still has a twin seat set-up.

The two protruding bits slots into the rear rack front bolt holes.

If you don't want that tube, let me know. Mine was launched out of my silencer somewhere between Milan and Stuttgart! Still looking for a replacement!

Thanks Stu. The rack had a mounting plate bolted through those holes- probably why it was removed.
