Would a Remus end can for a r1150RS fit on a r1150GS!!

You'd be best off asking Remus, but there is much commonality between exhaust components.

I bought a Remus Revolution end-can and Y-piece cat replacement for my R850R via eBay from a guy who'd had it on his Rockster originally. He also said he'd tried it for a weekend on his mates R1150GS & it fitted just fine.
