Would you buy a GS with 6 previous owners?

Looks a bit overpriced to me.

I've seen several lebbenfiddy advs WITH a fair bit of touratwat bling on them for £3500 in the last week or two.....they may have had another 0-20k miles on, but on a GS, that isn't a problem.


Yes, I would buy one with 6 owners, but no, I wouldn't buy this one, unless it was absolutely 100% mint

Mines o.k.

Bought mine as a comission sale from Vines at 15 months old and it had 4!!! previous owners with only 4.4k miles. It was immaculate and the last owner spent many £££'s on full luggage just before putting up for sale, so bonus there. On investigating it turned out the first two owners were BMW Bracknel and one of their people, all in under a year. It is four years old now with 12.5k on it and it's been 100% o.k. As long as the service history is good and it looks good I wouldn't worry.

I get through lots of 'bikes and this honestly wouldn't enter my head, although I am aware that it enters others. I know within five minutes if I am going to buy the 'bike. Condition (for me) is everything...can't get over the number of blokes that try to sell a 'bike that ain't even been cleaned...WTF is that about...

It is what it is...a motorbike. If it's in good nick and the service history looks good....and it's at the 'right' price, then I would buy it....zillions of owners (fortunately ) freak some people out....great bargaining point .

I'm the 14th owner of my latest bike. I think that each one of them took a couple of parts off it and threw them away, then took a brush out and hand painted something badly!

My dad has been selling cars for about 50 years.when people ask him about how many owners a vehicle has he always would say "I cannot sell you the owners just the car"
That sums it up for me it's about the bike condition not the number of owners

What if some of those owners were Tarka and Steptoe? You'd have the best maintained and cleanest GS in the country.
