WTF - 10 quid for a spark plug!

Call me old fashioned but a quid used to get you a set of plugs and points.

These wee BumWee plugs must be gold plated.

There was me just supporting my local dealer, picked up a set of plugs and an air filter in the passing and it all cost more than the nice lunch for two that followed 20 minutes later along the road in a nice bar.

Don't know where you've been hiding then. Twelve years ago I was paying £14 each for the plugs for a Firestorm.

I think so.

The point is, BumWee are not even selling BumWee branded plugs.
They simply stick an NGK plug in a BMW Group, original parts and accessories, box and double the price.
Not impressed.

I think motorworks discount the plugs to £4 each.

Basically, it pays to shop around. Same goes for any parts eg oil/air filters, plugs, lambda probes etc etc.

I could show you how to reprofile your sparkplugs to quadruple their life - but it seems lots of people on here have got more money than sense....and not much of that either.
