No, he placed the ring terminal on top of the plastic, at the rear of the fuel tank. And no it’s not perfectly fine, else I won’t have mentioned it. But if you think it’s fine, then carry on sunshine.

The fact that you came into the thread and criticised the previous comments speaks volumes, as do you comments in the quote above.

The guy has posted a video of fitting an after market part. Targeted at the vast majority of "Moderate Novice Tinkerer"

He exposed poor fittings and switches, which will help any potential buyer. Its not about his ability or skill level, Its about the part and the fitting of that part.

He makes money from his 'informative' videos that he posts on Youtube.

He is also a ltd company.

He showed a complete lack of knowledge when it comes the way that the canbus system works and the delay when it shuts down.

The only thing I think he exposed was the fact that he should not be fitting aftermarket parts....

I agree - I don't see why having a YouTube channel automatically makes him big headed or self centred. I can't think of anything I've seen from him that has struck me as egotistical or big headed - if anything just the opposite, as the guy can be quite self deprecating at times, something which wouldn't go amiss on here in some quarters. You can see more examples of egotistical bullshit just browsing this forum than in any number of TMF videos, and it should be said many examples of technical incompetence/ignorance. TMF doesn't claim to be an expert, but has a go to the best of his abilities, even if he doesn't measure up to some of the more exacting standards professed on here. He reminds me very much of the guy behind the TechMoan YouTube channel who seems to have a very similar approach, albeit in a different field to TMF.
