Well I actually got around to fitting the Techlusion to the 1200 today. Basically the unit plugs into 4 points on the bike, and simply slots inline into the existing system. The four places the Techlusion connects in are each side oxygen sensor and each side throttle body.
It's a 10 minute job to fit/remove and requires nought but a small screwdriver to unclip the connections. I didn't register the lack of a gaiter on the throttle body plug, I'll have a look. With a bit of luck the harness will reach the clocks. I'm not so keen on focusing on my groin while putting the bike through her paces - Ooh err
The bikes been off the road for absolutely ages but I really haven't missed riding in all the crap, I must be getting old
I've also wired my Hella FF50's as driving lights to come on with the main beam plus installed a pair of switched Micro DE Fogs for use with dip beam.
Other, not yet tried mods are a pair of Michelin Pilot Roads.
The bikes almost together again and I'm awaiting a new Optimate SP to give the battery some maintenance as it's been left for a while and I just know it'll not start.
I'm gonna take the baffle out of the Remus too now I've got the Techlusion fitted. I'm going to keep to a stock air filter for the time being I think, I can't see that a 'blue' one (??) will make much difference and I'm loath to sacrifice engine longivity. Does anyone know what exactly the 'Blue' filter is?
It'll be interesting to see how Marcparnes gets on when the can and airfilter are fitted. Marc, are you fitting the Y piece that gives a much greated de-restriction than just the can which gives little if any advantage supposedly.
I suppose I'd better take the bike out for a thrash, it's still covered in sh!te from the 3 Stags w/e, christ that was the last time I rode it
