Hi
Got some handle bar risers.
Problem is the clutch and brake hoses. I can't get enough slack for full lock.
Any one know if there is some slack available if i remove fairing ect?

2016 r1200 gs lc.

Thanks.

Put the bike on the centre stand. Take off the plastic fork top covers and undo the nut exposed, slide the fork leg down and relocate the cables outside the fork leg then reassemble.
I have done this on two GS's without any problems.

Thanks everyone. Much appreciated. Thats quite comprehensive.
I have never heard an adjustable spanner called a crescent wrench :-)

Seems odd they don't reach to me. I just fitted the Wunderlich up and back risers with no need whatsoever for cable re-routing...

^^^what he said, I have the same kit:nenau

My 2" up and back risers, with with the bars set as far back as possilble (t-rex arms) makes the cables too tight to allow full lock.

I checked before I did the deed and it was definately too tight lock to lock. An extra inch would have done it, but have take tank off to get at cables to explore. Its only the hydaulic cables, there is pleanty of room for the wires.

What a difference. Can't believe it. No arm lock out, easier counter steering, better standing up on gravel ect. Feel more at one with the bike as opposed to sitting on it.
