X challenge high miles ?

Spotted a x challenge with 19500 miles on it ,
It does have main dealer service history .
Is it going to be trouble soon or loads of life left ?

If it is the one currently at £1995, that`s been on fleabay before.

I don`t think high miles are too much of a problem, Colebatchs has pretty big miles on it.

Mine's done exactly the same miles , one service, no repairs , original tyres, original chain & sprocket, original pads, no problems except the battery change under warranty.

I understand that F650s have been known to do 100k miles without major work. same engine.

35K on mine, only problem i've had was teeth on the clutch rack and pinnion going west at 25k. BMW Germany paid for the parts and the dealer in Athens fitted everything FOC.

To be fair, my x challenge is still going strong with 700 miles on the clock.........

I was wondering about 1st set of tyres and pads, and only 1 service.


25.5k in my "tender" care. Several sets of pads and tyres, 2nd replacement chain is due for replacement, some servicing by BMW and a few more oil changes by me. It doesn't look as pretty as it could but it goes OK.
