I'm sure Nicholsonj will be able to assist as he's sorted this for his bikes. Its on my list too, but not top priority yet.

I used the BMW OEM LED indicators ( GS , S1000R , R Nine T etc ) . They regularly come up on here for sale as well as eBay or direct from BMW . All you need to do is wire in a resistor into each of the front circuits to get the flash rate correct , I used the OEM harness adapter kit so i did not have to change the stock wiring . Here are the part numbers below :

71 60 7 711 284 RETROFIT KIT, ADAPTER CABLE, LED SIGNAL x 1
63 13 8 522 499 LED FLASHER x 4

I have the ones that came with the R & G tail tidy (eBay) if that helps.

Thanks. So I need 3 parts, the 4 LED lights, the 50W/6 ohm resistor and the BMW adaptor wire for LED flasher. Correct?

If I went for http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcycl...204968822?clk_rvr_id=1198191874458&rmvSB=true, would I need the adapter cable and resistor anyway?

Any difficulty or anything to watch out for when doing the re-wiring? I am new at this... Cheers

You wouldn't need the adapter cable as it looks like the indicators have bare metal ends . You only need the adapter if you want to use the OEM LED indicator plug connections . You will likely still need the resistors but if you try it without and the flash rate is to quick that will confirm . Nothing really to watch out for pretty straightforward

Excellent, thanks for the advice. Ordering parts now...

Only just seen this. Another place to look is on the german motogadget website for their indicators. They are very small and very bright (and very expensive). I can thoroughly recommend the mBlaze Pin, but depends on your priorities.
