X Challenge or X Country?

Hi Guys
What are the main differences between the two?
I know loads about the 450 X but think it might have a two small tank for road riding to the lanes I want to ride.
Which one is more off road focussed and is it okay on the tarmac?
Just sold a 800GS which I found too tall and heavy to green laning anything harder than grass rutts. Now looking to buy a smaller bike instead.

XChallenge is more offroad biased and not too shabby on the road - will crack a ton

XCountry is more 'street scrambler' - not as good forks/shock and 19/17 wheels - still not too shabby offroad and better on road, plus there are more 'road' biased extras available
