Hello, I'm looking for some input on how much to sell my X-Challenge for, I'm not sure what to ask as there aren't many around to compare asking prices, and prices seem to vary a lot for the few that are advertised. Details are:

* 2007 model/reg
* 10800 miles
* Touratech long range tank fitted with quick release connectors on fuel lines
* Ohlins adjustable rear shock

Touratech parts:

* Large skid plate
* Adjustable gear lever
* Chain guide
* Rear brake disc guard
* Luggage rack
* Large carbon exhaust heat shield
* Side stand knob
* Front fender extension
* Frame guards
* Handlebar risers
* Headlight protector

Other parts:

* Carbon clutch cover
* Rear brake pedal
* BMW Pillion hand holds (parts 71607709689 and 71607709690)
* BMW crash bars (part 71607706067)
* BMW aluminum chain guard on top of swingarm (part 71607705977)
* BMW aluminum sprocket cover (part 71607705982)
* BMW aluminum frame protector (part 71607705946)
* BMW rear brake fluid reservoir cover (part 71607705943)
* Rear spindle sliders and fork protectors, both I think are R&G racing
* Acerbis hand protectors
* TKC80 tyres

Other notes:

* MOT to June 2018
* June 2015 had full service at BMW Battersea incl replacing clutch mechanism, hasn't been ridden much since, can provide receipt and mileage proof.
* Stored in garage w/ battery tender

Hi.
Somewhere between 3-4 k I would guess. Some nice bits on it (tank and rear shock), and mileage lowish.

Id stick it on eBay as a classified with the submit offers option. European sellers may see it and given the exchange rate, it could be a cheap bike for them.

In standard (ish) trim; about 2-2.5k, but you need the original bits to do that.

Hey... you are on post number 1, you jave not paid to join this site, and your very suggestive post is almost an advert but we can not message you, not have you given a price but encourage an auction.
I am looking for an XC but until I can message you, and see your pictures on here, I have no idea how to take this forward....???

Why the hell would a clutch need replacing at 11,000 miles? :nenau

It's not the whole clutch, and it's a common problem / design flaw with the XC as far as I know, e.g. see these threads:

http://www.ukgser.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-280694.html
http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php/273722-Clutch-noise-when-clutch-level-is-not-pressed

The parts that were replaced were:

* C11.14.7.700.331 - cover (see below)
* C21.21.7.709.526 - release lever
* C21.21.7.700.306 - op. shaft
* C11.14.7.706.498 - gasket
* misc stuff like washers.

I listed it on the details to show that the clutch is fine and has been fitted with the improved design clutch cover (part C11.14.7.700.331, see the post by "Losttheplot" in the first link).

I figured it would give some peace of mind to list it as fixed given its a common problem but it seems to have had the opposite effect :)

I've just received the bits to do mine. Approx £180 worth to do yourself. Clutch isn't replaced as part of this mod.
