well Ive been looking about, seems the Cycra probends get good write ups. . Anybody got them? Can anyone confirm the fixing kit - is it the Magura? (Ive a non ABS bike) Seem to be about £84.00 complete, wheres the best deal guys?

Hi Steve,

The XC has Magura bars. I found this when I was looking for guards for my XC.

I decided on the BMW guards in the end - easy to fit and about £80. The following day i set about extensively testing them .....

and they worked! Would have bust a load of levers that day..

Easy fit but did end up cutting the levers.

Thanks for that. Just got back from the red kite rally. Seen an Xch with Cycra handguards fitted, didnt notice whether the lever ends were cut off (cant see it though as it wouldnt get through scrutineering). Good day out weather varied from snow through to sunshine!

I suppose it depends at what angle you like your levers

Ive just fitted the acerbis multiplos. (see previous post/advice). Cut nothing except the ends out of the rubbers and they look/feel great.
