Ok, here it is again! Thanks for divers, 100% proffesionals!

That's not a job i'd like! Well done to them.:clap

Was that a road bridge? I was wondering if any road salt had splashed onto the ice to weaken it?

Shep

VERY interesting point! That wall, where we are standing is snow what is take away on road. And in this winter, they have use LOT OF salt.

Bendy: Bike is not fell on the bridge, I drive under it.

Thought you'd be saying "Best place for it!" :D

If there was a choice in that bog in byg to leave it it would still be there:beerjug:

Just posted a run on sunday to try the new toy if you fancy it/ have time suitable for ange as well:D

Okay. First diagnostics:
Engine- FULL of dirty oil/water emulsion. I open alternator side cover and clean it. Also dry engine and oil tank. New oil and filter.

Cylinder- Remove sparkplugs and rotate engine via alternator. Piston push up water on sparkplugs holes.

Exhaust- FULL of water. remove silencer and take water away. Primare exhaust pipe I dry with vacuumpump.

All connectors- Open and blow pressureair and oli with "anticorrosion teflon oil"

Lights (Hella twin/xenon) - Only half of water, empty, clean and dry. Ballast full of water, dry.

Suspension- If oil stay in, so there is no water. I did not do enything.

Gasoline- Empty both of tanks.

Battery: Service-free Varta LF. I don´t know, can I do something about it? I try load it, but voltage only 11.8 volts. Propably its dead?

Question: Under seat is silver aluminium electro-box. Is that for injection and is that possible to open?

Dashboard: Full of water and i afraid, its dead, not tested yet.

Question: If dashboard is dead, then what? Pay over 400 dollars for crap? I understand, some Aprilia uses same dashboard? Someone know more? Or some else dashboard, Koso or something?

Battery may recover. Try a good charger. BMW, Optimate etc.
Dashboard - try and get most of the water out. Then place in a plastic bag surrounded with uncooked rice. It will absorb the moisture out of it over a few days.
Then hope!
Electronics? Hope...

Cheers. Wednesday, and first stat. Everything works great exept instrument cluster.

I change oil four times. I put new oils in, get motor hot, oils out and new oils in again. Here is picture after first oil change.
In dashboard I fix several joints and find this component. I dont know, should there be "centerleg" I think yes? I wired it on board but dash is so dead, so buy new, 390 €...

Looking at the photo, I can't see anywhere where that centre leg would go, it doesn't look like it has broken off, and it being submerged in water in its casing would not have broken it, so I think it is okay as it is?

You were lucky to get the bike back and running, and to be okay.

Thats great ,i knew the bike would be fine, problems with soggy dashes are very common, there are after market dashes you can use, which are much cheaper. I have no indicator ,fuel or overheating lights on mine ,but does it really matter ?, mx bikes have none of these.

Good point Tee Bee. If rearframe or swingin arm is full of water and get frozen, then they will damage very bad! Better drill small holes there. Tomorrow gonna take first ride. I order original dash. But if you have aftermarket dash, how did you solve sideflashes? I understand, flashlights are controlled by dashboard?
