I don't suppose anyone has had to replace a rad shroud for the xchallenge??

After todays exploits it would appear the plastic these panels are made from becomes very brittle at low temperatures :mmmm

Trying to avoid a fully while riding up a slippery chalk hill, a small vine got caught around the rad shroud, and almost ripped it off :blast.

So whats it gonna cost? or is it worth spending the extra and buying the TT tank, and doing away with the rad shrouds completely??

A shade over £70 each, same for tailpiece and £133 for front mudguard.
If I don't improve my offroad ability I'm going to be poor.

How can they justify £133 for a mudguard that doesn't work??

Acerbis do a replacement mudguard (same as the item TT catalogue) for about £30!!

And you have to buy them new because some bugger keeps buying up all the 2nd hand body pannels of ebay :augie

That'll be me then:augie

I've had to rivet one of my ebay Rad panels already

Luckily the new and pristine ones are in the garage loft...............forward planning:D:augie

Actually it was meant for Bug, the ability of his Reklus clutch to fire him into the undergrowth when it all goes tits up has ammused us more than once and on the last occasion took the side of his XC
