nightshift 27th and 28th with the kids to look after in between so I definately wont be there. That'll be one less steak and black pudding pie eaten.

Any chance to eat at G.C.s I'm up for. Will be in a tin can, cos the GS is bust and I haven't got round to fixing it yet and the SV is tucked up in the garage for winter.

I agree......been that way/direction half a dozen times this year.......so this is my plan:
300 miles all in......about 150 to lunch......
I'll be leaving Edinburgh about 0900 so I can call & see friends en-route........

You've obviously not stopped yet for lunch at The Lochy, Alan. I doubt if there's a better eatery/value for money in the area. Well, no' one that would serve the likes of us anyway
