hi i have a problem with my y piece i am taking it off but its stuck solid as i have undid the clamps on both side and it want move it there a way to get it off thanks
 
i have left the downpips on but do i need to take them off as well ? to get it off as its a r1oogs
 
had a look at the down pips and the nuts are solid so i dont want to have to take them of my r100gs ?
i my just have to keep using my silencer which is got lots of holes in it. just meens it will back fire more when i slow down
 
You could try warming them a little from the outside - expand the y piece a little - and working some WD40 into the join. Brace the headers with some timber (take the weight/impact load off the fittings at the cylinder) and light rubber mallet action on each side of the y-piece to loosen it off.

If it is really b*ggered you could always cut the Y-piece behind the headers (careful not to cut the headers) and use an extractor to pull off the remaining sections.
