Do they fit together or do I need to use a different tailpipe?

Nope ...

.... they'll fit together just fine; as will the standard cat and a stubbie :thumb

A Y-piece with standard silencer was what I was thinking about 'doing'.

So many different opinions / stories to be found on this.

What's stopped me, so far, is the fear of stuff being melted, through the freerer flowing exhaust gases.

Most seem fine. Others not.

Do you need to "re-map" the fuel if you get shot of the cat then?

Mine has a standard can and Y piece on which all fits together tickety boo :thumb2

I was out this afternoon with my son pillion and full standard luggage on and neither the panniers or my lad melted :D

Bike revs quicker and feels more responsive without the cat fitted but havent done any re mapping or cat code changes as it feels ok as is

Cheers Bigyin. One of these fine days!

Been running this setup for seven or eight years, on both single spark & twin spark, had them checked for power & mixture on dyno - neither needed any changes to engine settings. Best set up in my opinion, better than y piece & Remus can - too noisy & less torque than with standard can.

Do it
