John was absolutely correct. All the fuel was on the right hand side and with a wee splash from the can she started straight away.

Which gives me no more excuses to take the car on these cold icy mornings....

Just as a matter of interest, if all the fuel was on the wrong side, what noise did the fuel pump make as it pressurised the system when the ignition was turned on?

Fuel pump made no different noise to the normal short whine - which is odd when you think about it.

The bike was probably just in the huff with me for dropping it. - they're not normal these GSs
