This bike is in exceptional condition. Full service history. It will tour, commute and scratch if you want. It has some great effective upgrades. Hagon rear shock upgrade and Hagon Progressive Fork Spring upgrade. Both have only been on the bike under 3000 miles. In combination with the mega Fork Brace (Superbrace top dollar BTW) this bike will out handle a stock bike easily and the latest all singing all dancing equivalents will not embarrass it. FJR's are very quick bikes and mega comfortable especially with the upgraded seat with gel inserts for both rider and pillion. If not familiar with these machines even making quick progress two up 50 plus mpg is a regular. The bike has only covered just 29,554 miles. It sounds and look superb. I have had the bike six years and noticed it had a recall still running for a new set of clocks, apparently some of the FJR;s left the factory with dodgy clocks so Yamaha replaced them along with a section of the loom under the tank as this can prove faulty. The work was done by Hinkley Yamaha during Covid so there is a record of work done and accurate mileage records. I prefer EBC disc's to the standard brake disc's so it was EBC's all round circa 3000 miles ago. The bike will come with the originals boxed up that have got loads of life left. The bike has Yamaha colour matched panniers (in mint condition photos to follow) together with Givi top mount mount and plate (Top can be included separately) Bagster Tank cover. MOT 11 Months.
The tyres are in top condition having done under 2000 miles they are B23's GT's. As stated the bike has full service history, a view and listen will confirm assertion. Over winter (my bikes do not do winter) coolant flushed and replaced, Valve service and suspension linkage strip and lubricate completed (key service schedule in the bank for thousands of miles. £3600.

Forgot to mention the indicators, stop lights and side lights are all brilliant LED's. The headlight has upgraded bulbs(Night-breaker plus). Shaft drive oil replaced when suspension was lubricated. It also has a for life DNA Air Filter fitted and R&G engine crash bobbins. These are mega reliable bikes and can do taxi mileage when other famous bikes are having to have their ABS bypassed and shafts replaced and switch gear and corroded to buggery and back, this bike will keep flying and banging out the miles for years and years to come. Only reason for sale trimming the fleet.

Also the FJR is equipped with a throttle tamer. The original throttle tube and pulley mechanism was upgraded and replaced by a Pukka piece of USA engineering that makes low speed manoeuvrers a doddle . It also makes the throttle lighter to use as the original set up was a bit heavy, not now with improved control low down right up to mega high speeds if you wish.

Fab bike. Mines pretty standard, would be nice if you have the time to add links for the throttle tamer, and LED stuff for the lights.
They really are quick, comfy, and good on fuel.
This shouldn't hang around too long. 👍

Wag, They are top bikes and my guess is not until the RT 1250 did the RT's get close to the FJR's performance but they will never get near the FJR's reliability or longevity. I will send you some info on the Tamer and LED bulbs. I am a bit busy but will do it over the next day or so. Cheers WM.

Cheers WM. They certainly are more reliable.
IMHO they'll still out perform the 1250: that 4 cylinder engine is so smooth and responds like a scolded cat on demanded.
