I’m thinking of thinning my bike fleet down to just one, maybe two bikes! I purchased this ex-blood bike on this very forum last year and have covered maybe around 1000 enjoyable miles. I earmarked this as my ‘winter bike’ but I’m losing the desire to ride when it’s cold and/or wet so this is why it may have to go! I have had the rear shock refurbished by T-Tech recently, which now makes for a very comfortable and controlled ride. The mileage is 79k and the bike has been serviced by the book at main dealers over the course of its life. I also changed the oil and filter when I purchased her. There are a few blemishes commensurate with age and usage including some scuffs on the panniers but the silver lids are nearly new and unmarked. Tyres and brakes are all good and the bike pulls like a train and rides without fault. As mentioned in the original ad, the gear indicator sometimes shows fifth and sometimes it’s blank…..which means you’re in 5th anyway! 60mpg is easily attainable on a run with 55-60mpg on shorter trips. The bike has ABS, 3-stage heated grips, electric screen with touring and standard screen options, on-board computer with lots of info, adjustable bars etc etc. There are two keys plus the red key and all the Yamaha paperwork from new and lots of service stuff. A truly reliable, shaft-driven mile muncher at a bargain price….looking to get somewhere near what it owes me otherwise I won’t be selling. Asking £3250. I am also willing to deliver anywhere for the cost of a train ticket and fuel. Thanks for looking. 👍

One of the very FEW modern Bikes I have enjoyed and as usual you post when I am not in a position to buy :cautious:

Smooth and Turbine like progression of the engine and a supple chassis that can handle getting a boogie on

GLWTS

Thanks Doc! You are right…. Such smooth, torquey power and therefore deceptively rapid! If you check out the enveloping aluminium frame you can see why they handle so sure-footedly, as you say…. 👍

And we both forgot to mention .......... Comfy!!! Damn Comfy!!!

I’d love one, but alas no room in the garage for another bike.

I know that they changed from 5 to 6 gears in 2016. Does yours have 6 please?!

I can Vouch for this Bike too, having personally ridden many 100's of miles on it whilst it was still In Service - Good Luck with the Sale Pal...

Good bike for the money Brodie. I'd much prefer this 2016 bike with a few miles than one 10 years older with low miles and old tyres !
My 65 Plate has just over 60k and runs like a Rolex.
Fantastic Bikes IMO.
When you think about it, if it was a 1300cc Car, it’d be considered a Low Mileage Example.

You aren’t wrong lads! There are a few seemingly tidy early examples….2001/2003….for nearer the £2000 mark, but they are getting on for 25 years old now of course. I think I’d still consider a well looked after older example, but I’d rather have mine for £3000! ✅

Just sold through another platform for £3100, so very happy with that. Thanks again for all the positive comments 👍
