My little Yamaha RXS 100.
1988, so just a few years until tax and MOT free.
Just 2900 miles from new and in absolutely amazing condition for its age. It is 99.9% original right down to it's Yokohama tyres (new battery and non 1980s air in the tyres 😂). Service book confirms its service history is up to date having had its initial service 😁. Not a single bolt shows signs of having been disturbed. Paintwork is excellent and looks great in what I think is Candy Blue. The protective plastic coating on the mirrors hasn't even been removed yet. I'm so tempted to pick it off, but as it's been on there for 37 years....... CDI ignition, so no points to worry about and autolube.
I guess this is one for a collector or to show; it is that nice. Just a small amount of patina here and there, but unbelievable clean.
I only recently bought this, but it's far to good for me to run around on. It has resided in collections for the vast majority of it's life.
It has it's original owners manual, service book, some old MOTs, and is of course MOT'd until next year. Tax is £26 a year. V5 in my name.
Spares are abundant if ever needed.
Difficult to price as I have never seen one so original and in such good condition, with very low miles.

I had a D reg one in ‘91. 12bhp leaner limit yet cheaper insurance was the key. How I stayed alive whilst caning that on the Wirral is beyond me, however utterly, utterly lovely. *

*except the front brake. Front brake is terrifying.

What a beautifully kept bike. True time warp. I cant underestimate how much fun pootling around on little bikes can be. Im currently on the search for a 50cc. Folk smile at you as you ride by , plus with this one, the added benefit of two smoke lovelyness as you ring a ding ding along.

And can even have a decent conversation as you ride by...😆👍 We had RXS's for learner bikes for a fair while... Surprised to see one in such good nick...👍😄

What a lovely little motorcycle! I hope it goes to a good home and is ridden regularly, a little gem!

I passed my test on one of these in the early 80s, it didn’t look as good as this one though.

A Kent registered bike by the looks of it.
What dealer name is on the registration plate?

The plate has "The Bike Shop Faversham" on it. A Yamaha dealer that closed around 2017 sadly
