Hello all,
My 1200GS TE has just tripped it's first birthday and I was wondering....
Do I still need to have the annual check-up even though I've had the first 6K service within the year?

Cheers,
Bob :beerjug:

When within the year? If it was recent then the yearly was probably done at the same time. If it was a few months ago you probably need to get the yearly done. Your service sheet should tell you what was done at last service either way.

Looking at the service sheet the 6k was done in early July.
I will ring my local dealer and see what the score is.

Cheers,
Bob

I asked the same question ,i was advised the clock starts again from the point of service, my bike is just a year old and had a first run in service mid february,
i don't run the bike when garry gritter is out so it will be laid up over christmas and due at 12 months next february, in effect 12months or 6000 miles,
Roamer

The dealer changed my brake fluid which is required after the first year no matter what else has been done.
