I know, I know, do a search etc. I have and have not come up with the answer trawling through all 9billion messages so please help if possible. I am absolutely clueless about wiring or auxiliary lights.

I am thinking of getting (because I like the look of them more than anything) a set of PIAA 510's for use as driving lights. Could someone please tell me whether these can be wired so that they come on with my normal dipped beam and then brighten up as I switch to my main beam, all using the normal BMW lights switch?

I want to avoid having 2 light switches on my handle bars if possible. Any other advice appreciated.

PS
It might help if the question was in the correct section?

Yep, did several searches and read\scanned about 100 messages. Just couldn't find exactly what I needed to know but then maybe it's because I need it explained as simple as possible :( :D

Sending email now.

Carl,

I have tried to reply to your e-mail (in fact five attempts) but for what ever reason it keeps bouncing back.

I cannot PM you coz you are not a Forum sponsor yet, so would you like to either call me on 07761 786828 and I will try and talk you along or try another e-mail address that works!

Cheers

BTBR

Pls don't take this the wrong way, but that 'blueyonder' account of yours sucks!!!

Have just replied to the mail above only to have it bounce back yet again.......I give in:mad:

No offence taken mate. You've just made me aware of a problem with my email. I have contacted Blueyonder support who seems to have fixed it. Should work if you try again. Thanks very much and sorry for the hassle!
