Yorkshire Odyssey

Good one JB .... fave haunts of mine.

Stayed in the VW Camper up by Danby Beacon, had many a meal and good times in the Cod and Lobster down by the harbour in Staithes. Even took three trainees on their BMW's across the trail that comes out at Glaisedale ... afternoon picnic on a long run :D

Well they have to get some off road training before they're allowed out on patrol

Ah, the lovely K series.....I loved mine so much, I bought one of my own too! Only crap bit was hot weather, low speed running (like an abload) with all the lights on....daren't stall it as the battery would more than likely be w@nked!!

Can't quite see in the pic but is that a K1100 or K100' with the boxers? Didn't rate the monoshock R80RT's....they seemed very wooden to ride after the twin-shock version (although they were a hell of a lot easier to put on the main stand than the earlier ones!!)

Have just come back down to the sh1thole that is London after a wonderful few days riding around the Peak District, across the Yorkshire Dales and then into the NYM.....I love this part of the country and can't wait to move there when I retire.

It's another world away from down here...fed up with all the London :tosser

You have my sympathies. I've just come back from the South of France via the Tunnel and was forced to get fuel on the M25 at Lakeside. 10:30pm and the place was still a congested, overpopulated shithole full of chavs. Was so glad to get back North again.

cracking pics mate really enjoyed that read nearly went that way out myself today :) next on my weekend trip list yorkshire i think

Makes sense when you have the Black one... ;)

Thanks for keeping the home fires burning JB. Interesting ride as I had planned a couple of runs up there myself for a change. You beat me too it. Good idea to revisit and explore near to home. Did a Bikesafe course from Beverley and went on some cracking roads out that way, well worth a gander:beerjug:
