You're just not doing this right!

Do this EXACTLY and I guarantee that it will work:

• Find the YouTube you want
• Hit the 'Embed' button
• Code lights up in blue - do nothing!!
• Press Control + C on your keyboard
• Open your UKGSer reply page
• Hit Control + V

Stop trying to do this with your mouse/mousepad.

Do EXACTLY what I said above and it'll work (assuming that you're using a PC).

When you click on Embed you see the 1st pick, as Greg says do nothing except Cntrl+c, then open up the post you want to paste it in and you Cntrl+v this will paste in the text in the second pic

the last 3 posts were done on a toshiba laptop with my daughter helping wtf?
im now back on my eepc, friggin things
my daughters tosh is running windows vista, and my eepc 901 is on xp .

On the Toshiba, when you have copied the string open notepad and paste it into notepad, check all the characters are there, then highlight what you have in notepad and try pasting that as a post in here

If you 'quote' one of Pauls posts all the detail is there but once it is posted it some of it doesnt show

this what im doing , ive two tabs open, one with the gs site with a reply page waiting, and another tab with a youtube vid on it,i then play it cause there are a few to choose from then hit the embed button, the text appears and goes blue, i then press control c,then change tab to gser, then see the reply page, and i tried just pressing control and then v, but you have to put the cursor in the text box otherwise nowt appears, i even tried putting the cursor in the title box as well, still all i get is a funny kind of url.
